I am currently working as a Research Fellow at the Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS), S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

 

I conferred my PhD in 2012 from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), NTU. My research interests are in the areas of social media, information management, information literacy and environmental scanning. Prior to starting my PhD in 2008, I obtained my MSc (Information Studies) from NTU in 2007, and my BA (English and International Business Communication) from Nanjing University (one of the Top 5 Universities in China)  in 2005. 

 

Having more than 12 years’ experience, I am proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research design with good command of data analysis skills. Till now, I have published 15 journal articles, 17 conference papers/presentations, 2 book chapters and 1 book.

 

I am also invited reviewer for some top-tier journals including California Management Review, Aslib Journal of Information Management, and Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research.
